VIDEO: Big Sean feat. Nicki Minaj - Ass (remix)

I ain't gonna say too much about Big Sean, the single least charismatic rapper to make it to the big leagues in recent memory. This is a banger and I'm delighted Nicki's gone back to being sexy. I mean the kooky wig stuff was cool, gotta do something for the kids and all, but lest we forget, Nicki's fine.

Drake feat. Nicki Minaj - Proud Of You (Live on SNL)

Firstly, it took a few listens to grow on me, but I ever so slightly love this song now.

Secondly, Drake fancies Nicki. I mean we all fancy Nicki, but homie is smitten. This unrequited love thing isn't adorable, it's a little bit creepy. With that said, this war of attrition he's waging on her might eventually end up paying dividends. This kind of relentless long-term effort has to pay off at some point, right ladies?

Finally, let's take a moment to enjoy these outstanding GIFs. Drizzy really is a funny/highly excitable dude.

Take Care is finally out on November 15th. Can't wait.

Kano - Blue Sky: Blood My In Is Music

fadsfgwfdsfsagsfd. This is sick.

Okay, we get it. Kano's coming to take back the crown and he's not planning on sneaking in quietly. Good.

Big up Versetti, some silent shadowy Illuminati figure in the background pulling the strings on most of what's been dope of late.

LISTEN BACK: Ms Dynamite in conversation with Fresh Cuts

Last night on Fresh Cuts we played out an interview I recorded a few weeks back with the legendary Ms Dynamite. She's an artist I literally grew up listening to (her debut album A Little Deeper was one of the first CDs I ever bought with my own cash) so that was a real honour.

Listen back to the interview below where the Mercury Music Prize winner discusses her return to music, being surrounded by a new generation of artists who idolize her and how working with 367 (aka A Dot, Lady Leshurr and Lioness) nearly brought her to tears.

VIDEO: Labrinth feat. Tinie Tempah - Earthquake

Definite Top 10, possible #1. This video is awesome, although I can't help but think of Swagger Jagger when I see it. I'm a sucker for these kind of visual effects though.

I interviewed Labrinth recently for Fresh Cuts. That's gonna air on the show in a couple of weeks time - it's an interesting interview, partly because Lab's a particular affable guy (the definition of a person who gives off good vibes) and partly because he had a lot of stuff to say. Look out for it.

VIDEO: Daley - Smoking Gun/Dangerously In Love (Dropout Live Session)

Daley's too much, we're actually ever-so-slightly not worthy.

Childish Gambino - Bonfire

I've been playing this on radio, but for anyone who hasn't heard it yet, check out the lead single from Childish Gambino's forthcoming album Camp. Gambino is perhaps better known as actor, comedian and writer Donald Glover, who plays Troy in the genuinely brilliant sitcom Community. A genuine jack of all trades, he's also written for 30 Rock and The Daily Show, but is making quite a name for himself as a rapper.

Gambino is a punchline animal, as is evident on this track and Freaks and Geeks, but a listen to past projects Culdesac and EP suggests a rapper also inclined towards the self-aware angst of someone like Drake. He's good, whether he's beasting or even singing. One to watch.

Mic Righteous - SB.TV F64

Yeah... this guy is fucked.

"I'mma show a lot of people love, I'mma give them credit where it's due // anyone who doubted I could do it, this the one I dedicate to you..." ( c ) Drake

New track from the vastly underrated K-OS featuring fellow Toronto rapper/singer Drizzy. This Drake verse is far from the usual though - it's much more Comeback Season than Take Care. Aubrey ain't been rapping like this in a while and it's refreshing to hear that old flow again. He was sick from before So Far Gone.

I'd speculate this 16 isn't fresh but whether this is a recent verse or something from the vaults, it's all semantics - this is some smoothed out dopeness.

Listen: K-OS feat. Drake - Faith (Part II)

Switch feat. Andrea Martin - I Still Love You

This shit is amazing - I'm late on it and I've been hearing and reading about it for a while but only heard the track for the first time this week. Absolutely incredible vocal married with brilliantly minimal production.

Listen: Switch feat. Andrea Martin - I Still Love You

Released on Dubsided tomorrow.
