"Just let me love you, lay right here, I'll be your fantasy..."

Robin Thicke - Sex Therapy (VIDEO)

In a TOTALLY straight way, when Robin Thicke starts singing the verse in this ("stressed out, uptight, overworked, wound up...") in my head I shout "SHATAP! Are you dumb?! Robin Thicke is a badman! Fuck orf..."

I know the video's old news, I was just listening to the Ludacris remix and remembered what a straight banger this is. Luda usually assassinates R&B tracks and it's not like he flops this (do I need to say "pause" here?) but the vibe of the original was so right it really didn't need a rapper defecating all over it.

Kano - More Than One Way (VIDEO)

Video looks good. Are we past the stage with the UK music industry where every video with high production levels needs to be marvelled at? Because I mean they mostly look good these days (even some of the Channel AKA trash LOOKS good) but my first reaction is still "wow, this is well produced".

Anyway, umm... Kano album out next year.

Davinche featuring Cleo Sol - Hero (VIDEO)

The only reason I didn't post this last week was I've been insanely busy. Davinche's setting the pace. Biggest producer in the UK without question - nobody is as versatile as this guy and this one is a banger. Cleo Sol/Clea's vocals are so on-point as well.

Cop the single package here. You get the original, instrumental, and a couple of big remixes including a nuts Logistics one (seven tracks in total) for £1.50. Lovely 320kpbs quality as well, I dunno why I ever fucked with iTunes.

"You give me a feeling that I've never felt before // and I deserve it, I think I deserve it..." ( c ) Alicia Keys

Alicia Keys featuring Drake - Unthinkable

Drizzy wrote this one. One of my favourite Alicia Keys songs ever.

"I'm on the pursuit of happiness, I know // everything that shine ain't always gonna be gold // I'll be fine once I get it..." ( c ) Kid Cudi

KiD CuDi featuring MGMT and RATATAT – Pursuit of Happiness

This should be some kind of anthem, but somehow Cudi manages to emo it up with a highly random second verse about night terrors. Nonetheless the chorus is golden. Good look to get Drake and Cudi together in this video.

I should probably point out that Chinners picked this for Fresh Cuts months ago and suggested it should be single.

"I'm at the W, but I can't meet you in the lobby // girl I gotta watch my back, coz I'm not just anybody..." ( c ) Drake

Young Money "featuring" Lloyd - Bedrock

It was real nice of me to let Wayne and his fam shoot this video in my summer house. I figured it wasn't being used anyway.

"I let her see the Aston, and let the rest surprise her..."

Drake and Nicki Minaj took this one, but really as far as crews are concerned, 2009 belonged to Young Money.

Scorcher - Dark Knight (Video)

Umm... I don't like it. Obviously the song is big, but the video's a bit weird. I like the idea, I even like the execution and really appreciate the effort, it just gets a bit boring after a while, and Skywalker seems like he's tryna look hyper-agressive to balance out Lipsin' Ting. Props to him for trying something fresh, creative and different though, can't hate on that.

I hope the next single is Good Morning with Wretch 32 and Kay Young.

"Dedicating overtime to damaging my name // and somehow I'm still the hottest motherf*cker in the game..." ( c ) Drake

DJ Khaled featuring Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Drake and Usher - Fed Up (Video)

Nicki Minaj Interview with Fader

This is from May so I know I'm late on this and on her but I fucking love Nicki. I'm quite good with interviewing women I've got celeb-crushes on but Ms Minaj might blow my whole mind. Fingers crossed I get the chance to find out in TwentyTen.

Jay Sean featuring Lil' Jon and Sean Paul - Do You Remember (Video)

I still can't believe that an Indian boy from Hounslow is perhaps the most successful British "urban" artist of all time. Madness.

Gil featuring Bluey Robinson - Gotta Be A Way (VIDEO)

The problem with being busy is that I mostly only post something when it really catches my attention, which is how we end up with Bluey Robinson being the subject of two consecutive posts. Sorry.

He's that good though.

Oh wow, a new 2Play video's just come on Flava TV. That's the guy who did So Confused and This Can't Be Right (both with Raghav). This really isn't as good as either of those.

Big up Bluey though.
